Job Description

As part of our manufacturing department you will be on a 10-person team weighing and mixing ingredients to produce large batches of oral health care products (toothpastes).  We will train you in pharmaceutical manufacturing, good documentation practices, operation of large blending equipment, material handling, chemical handling and hygiene and more.  These skills are essential for employees working in an FDA regulated industry.  In our toothpaste division our focus is Safety, Quality, then Delivery.
We follow strict COVID-19 procedures including mandatory masks (provided), daily heath assessments, daily screening, and a work environment that allows for social distancing to keep you safe at work.
This is a 12 hr. Rotating Night Shift from 5:00 pm– 5:30 am. schedule is working 2  days on, 2 days off and every other weekend.

Job Duties:
  • Responsible for the formulation of bulk liquid and semi-solid dental and oral health care products
  • Movement of raw materials from warehouses to manufacturing areas
  • Accurate measurement of chemical ingredients
  • Operation and cleaning of mixing, blending, and milling equipment
  • Documentation of manufacturing processes, both handwritten and electronic
What we're looking for in you:
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to record and document critical batch process documents
  • Attention to accuracy and detail
  • Ability to work and cooperate with team members
  • Background in food, supplement, cosmetic, medical device, or pharmaceutical chemical formulation required
  • Familiar with measurement scales, mixing, blending, chemical mills and other formulation manufacturing equipment
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations, cGMP, and lean manufacturing
