The Role
We are looking for a Video Producer who loves supporting and building a team of video creators, empowering others, and working to develop and scale exceptional brands. In this role, you’ll work with our high-energy team to ensure our content and relationships are cultivated, protected, and maintained properly across all of Angel Studios.
A day in the life of a Video Producer
Stay curiousIdeation internally and with clients to come up with compelling visual storytelling solutions that connect, inform, intrigue, and inspireDirect all parts of pre-production, production, and post-production with key players
Pre Production:Ideation, collaboration, and pitchesScriptwriting, concepting, lookbooks, and storyboardsFinding, planning, and booking locationsAcquiring permits if neededFinding, planning, and booking “talent”Gear prep and bookings as needed
Production:Maintaining script and storyboard integrity, preserving the quality and beauty of the creative vision, working with talent to get the best takes while encouraging and training them. Executing safely within the law and recording footage with redundancy (2 to 3 copies before leaving set or formatting cards).Direct crew clearly Set enjoyable and kind environmentExude strong personal relations and communication with all stakeholders on locationEnsure respectful cleanup 
Post Production:Manage post-production team to ensure all parts of post-production are completed and true to the vision Edit and aid in different areas of the post production process if necessary to meet timeline and demandEnsure high level of diligence in copying and cataloging footage, editing storylines, final edits, text and creative animations, audio engineering, color correction, and gradingMake edits considering and respecting client comments to gain full approval while maintaining the integrity of the creativeWork as part of a team managing and directing internal and external personnel like copywriters, designers, developers, DOPs, PAs, Grips, animators, etc.Manage budgets and timelinesManage, maintain, and organize gearJoin and lead creative briefs internally and with clients to understand needs, requirements, hopes, brand style, and timelinesSupervising, and directing interns
Qualifications of a Video Producer
Minimum 8 years producing, directing, editing, and creating videos used on multiple platforms including social mediaProficient in Adobe Creative Suite and DaVinci Resolve.Creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability, and originalityExcellent time management and organizationAccuracy and attention to detailStay on top of latest and greatest in design trends merging the “cutting-edge” with the “timeless”Ability to interact, communicate, and present ideasProfessionalism regarding time, costs, and deadlinesIT savvyProblem-solving and open communicationOccasional travel
