About the position
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who is passionate about solving problems and addressing development needs. Being a DevOps Engineer at Divvy means balancing the long terms technical concerns with the immediate development and infrastructure demands. What you'll be doing

  • Write software tools to help Divvy’s Software Engineers deliver world class software
  • Design and Implement Divvy's CI/CD pipelines
  • Ensure compliance with PCI DSS, SOC2 security standards
  • Participate in on-call rotation with other DevOps Engineers
  • Provision Divvy services using Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production issues
  • Work with team to control costs and optimize cloud utilization
  • Evangelize and instruct Software Engineers in DevOps philosophy


  • Experience hosting 24x7 services in cloud providers AWS/GCP/Azure (AWS preferred)
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes and underlying tech (Docker, Linux, etc)
  • Proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, and/or similar
  • Proficiency with Gitlab-CI, Jenkins, and/or similar
  • Proficiency in development or in scripting languages such as Python and/or Golang

To stand out!

  • Working knowledge of Databases & SQL (Postgres/MySQL)
  • Experience with Elixir or other functional development languages
  • Frontend web interface development
