As Web Architect at Divvy you will collaborate with development leaders, software architects, software engineers, product managers, and UI/UX designers to innovate in and improve on Divvy’s product offering on the web. You will own and lead the technical planning, implementation, and delivery of impactful platform improvements all in the name of delivering value to customers. You will be an advocate and contributor to Divvy’s React applications, and in some cases, to their associated GraphQL API and backend services built in Elixir with a Postgres database.What we’re looking for
- 6+ years of professional experience working on an Agile software development team
- 3-4+ years working on a development architecture team and taking initiative on the direction and scale of software
- Experience completing and shipping finished products and features (in the cloud – AWS preferred)
- Expert knowledge of engineering processes, application design, and system optimization
- CS Degree or equivalent experience
- Understanding of functional programming languages/paradigms
- Well-versed in sound software engineering principles
- Well-versed in sound quality assurance principles
